Matrixport: Net Capital Outflows from Spot Bitcoin ETF Nearly $6 Billion Over the Past 9 Weeks Financial reports indicate that, according to daily chart analysis released by Matrixport, over the past nine weeks, Bitcoin Exchange-Traded Funds (ETF)( have continued to weigh on the market, with net capital outflows approaching $6 billion. Following a $3.5 billion outflow in November, the net selling trend has persisted in December, with current outflows reaching $1.1 billion. This is the most significant capital withdrawal since these ETFs were listed in January 2024. The core issue now shifts to January 2025, when the market will be able to determine whether this selling pressure is merely a short-term repositioning at year-end or reflects a deeper change in investor confidence in Bitcoin itself.
