#机构投资加密货币 Seeing the news that DBS Bank has been continuously increasing its Ethereum holdings, I thought of a common misconception. Many people see institutions making moves and rush to add to their positions, thinking "Big institutions are buying, so it must be right." But a closer look at the data reveals that DBS's holding strategy actually teaches us an important lesson.

A total holding of over $1.2 billion sounds large, but from another perspective—this is a large asset management institution's allocation ratio after long-term evaluation. They are not going all-in at once, but rather deploying gradually, continuously, and with rhythm. This pace itself is worth learning from.

The calmness of institutions lies in the fact that they do not change their strategy due to short-term fluctuations, nor do they put all their chips into a single asset. What does this mean for us ordinary investors? It means we should manage our positions well—allocate a reasonable proportion to crypto assets, and then stick to regular reviews rather than frequent trading.

In the long run, the sustained participation of institutions indeed reflects the increasing maturity of the cryptocurrency ecosystem. But this is not a reason for impulsive buying; rather, it reminds us to think more rationally: How much risk can we tolerate? What is the time horizon for this money? Only by clarifying these questions can we, like institutions, deploy our assets steadily.
