On Christmas Day, the official Dogecoin account caused a bit of a stir on X platform—jokingly calling on fans to list companies that still don't support Dogecoin payments as "naughty list," and promising to move these companies to the "nice list" next year. It sounded like a collective roast session from the community.
As a result, community members didn't hold back. Tesla and X were directly marked, with some even digging up that Tesla's online store previously supported Dogecoin payments, which was like giving the official account a gentle slap. Many also turned their attention to McDonald's and Burger King, saying these fast-food giants are still on the fence.
The most interesting part was someone recalling Elon Musk's bold statement—if McDonald's agrees to accept Dogecoin, he would eat a Happy Meal live on national broadcast. The question from netizens was: will this actually happen? The entire discussion was filled with the community's humor, but also revealed a certain expectation from the Dogecoin community for the development of the payment ecosystem.

actually, if you run the correlation analysis between musk's twitter promises and mcdonald's payment adoption rates, you'll see a clear pattern of zero statistical significance. ngl the naughty list thing is just cope for lack of actual merchant integration. compare this to payment adoption curves for btc/eth circa 2015 and the basis points we're talking about here don't even move the needle.

Haha, laughing to death, Tesla was reported by its own people
When will Musk's latest promise be fulfilled? I'm waiting to watch the drama
Tesla is ranked first on the Naughty List, I have no objection
The Dogecoin community is just interesting, a group of people collectively putting pressure there
When will McDonald's accept Dogecoin? I can't hold on much longer
This is the power of Web3, truly integrated
Waiting for it to be fulfilled, how many coins is Musk's word worth?

Haha, Musk's promise still hasn't been fulfilled, and I just want to ask when MCD will accept DOGE.
The Tesla store has been delisted, isn't that a direct slap in the face? Truly ironic.
The mischievous list work is interesting; the community's enthusiasm really needs support.
Wait, didn't no one say that McDonald's and Burger King originally didn't want to touch the crypto space?
DOGE payment ecosystem has been built for so many years, and it's still like this, which is a bit awkward.
The entire collective roasting session is ridiculous, but I like this atmosphere.
Musk's children's meal meme can be laughed at for a year.

Haha, Musk's promise is quite bold. If McDonald's accepts Dogecoin, he'll eat a kids' meal. Is this deal worth it?
Tesla actually took Dogecoin payments offline? No wonder they were put on the naughty list. Isn't that shooting themselves in the foot?
The Dogecoin community's collective roast session is pretty lively. Let's see if any company really gets serious next year.
Why are McDonald's and Burger King still on the sidelines? How cautious can they be? Promoting payments is just so difficult.
Turning the naughty list into a good list feels like the community is giving big companies homework, huh?
If this really comes true, I’ll be convinced. Musk’s promises are always full of surprises.
Let's wait and see if Dogecoin can truly break into the payment market.
