But wait, there are some things worth pondering:

What does it reflect when a developer's device is compromised? Is it a vulnerability in the defenses or a lax process? Can compensation truly mend the breach? Once users' confidence in the product is shattered, can money really fix it?

The most painful question is—after the next version is released, will you still have the courage to use it?
