Stablecoins have fundamentally changed what money can be. But there's been a missing piece all along—how do you actually use them in the real world?

The unlock lies in eliminating friction at every step. Zero transaction markups combined with genuine global acceptance transforms stablecoins from a crypto curiosity into actual daily infrastructure. That's when adoption accelerates.

When you remove the barrier between holding stable value and using it seamlessly anywhere on the planet, you shift from financial experiment to everyday necessity. That's the inflection point the ecosystem has been waiting for.

After all these years talking about stablecoins, the key is that they really need to be spendable; otherwise, it's just armchair strategizing.

Basically, it's still about integrating payment scenarios; otherwise, stablecoins are just financial toys.

It sounds good, but the real question is who will foot the bill, and where will the zero transaction fee come from?

It sounds good, but can it really eliminate friction? I think most people still have nowhere to use it.

ngl, this "inflection point" language is doing heavy lifting here. empirically speaking, we're still like... 60-70% away from that threshold? the friction piece is real though—transaction markups are statistically significant drag on adoption rates, contrary to what most people think about stablecoin velocity
