Stop-Loss Triple Gate | These 3 contract risk management techniques saved me from losing 2 million!
Recently, I’ve noticed many friends keep stopping out at the wrong levels. Sharing my "Stop-Loss Triple Gate" system:
First Gate: Technical Stop-Loss
• 1-hour chart breaks below previous low
• Bollinger Band middle line is breached
• Moving average death cross confirmed
Second Gate: Volatility Stop-Loss
• Set stop-loss at 1.5 times ATR (Average True Range)
• Set based on 50% of the daily average volatility of the instrument
• Set at 5% of account funds; for a 100,000 principal, single trade stop-loss does not exceed 5,000
Third Gate: Time-Based Stop-Loss
• Holding position for more than 3 trading days without profit
• Target not reached before major data releases

Remember: Stop-loss is not losing money; it’s insuring your account! High leverage is not suitable!
