$PI To everyone in the Pi Network community, I want to say that the project's success truly depends on everyone’s efforts. Reflecting on 2009, after Satoshi Nakamoto released the Bitcoin white paper, the project was almost unnoticed. Early adopters like Hal Finney, Gavin Andresen, and Martti Malmi tirelessly posted on forums, organized meetups, and even created “Bitcoin faucets” for free coin distribution, all to attract more people to learn about and join. They organized community events, developed websites, and promoted the理念, spreading Bitcoin’s value bit by bit. It was these grassroots efforts that allowed Bitcoin to grow from a niche experiment into a global digital currency benchmark. Today, Bitcoin’s success owes much to the persistence and dedication of those early community members.
Similarly, the birth of Ethereum also relied on the relentless promotion by its founders. In 2013, 19-year-old Vitalik Buterin released the Ethereum white paper, proposing a programmable blockchain platform. Along with co-founders like Gavin Wood and Joseph Lubin, he traveled around, attended Bitcoin conferences, organized crowdfunding events, and even coded day and night from a temporary residence in Switzerland. Vitalik personally wrote on community forums, delivered speeches, and explained the potential of smart contracts, attracting developers worldwide to join. The 2014 ICO crowdfunding raised a substantial amount of capital. Thanks to the founders’ enthusiastic promotion and community response, Ethereum quickly rose to become the foundation for DeFi, NFTs, and other ecosystems. The success of these great projects shares a common point: collective effort from the community. The founders provided the vision, but the real driving force behind the projects’ progress were countless ordinary participants’ promotion, development, and contributions. They invited friends to join, developed applications, and spread ideas, ultimately building a strong ecosystem. Today, Pi Network is at a similar critical stage. We already have tens of millions of pioneers; after the mainnet opens, the ecosystem is rapidly developing. Pi’s uniqueness lies in mobile mining and inclusiveness, allowing everyone to participate easily. But the future of the project depends not only on the core team but on each of us pioneers. Dear Pi community members, let’s take action! Invite more friends to join Pi, share Pi’s vision; promote Pi applications on social media, participate in hackathons and develop tools; support local merchants to accept Pi payments and build a real ecosystem. Every small step of promotion and contribution helps gather the great strength of Pi. Just like the early communities of Bitcoin and Ethereum, our efforts will determine whether Pi can become the next project to change the world. The success of Pi is in our hands. Let’s work together to build an inclusive Web3 ecosystem for everyone.
Everyone, spread the word and make the Pi Network community even greater.
