Pharos and Monad, Two Paths Toward Fast L1

Both pursue speed, but their approaches are completely different. Monad focuses on maximizing efficiency within the familiar EVM framework. In contrast, Pharos was redesigned from scratch. The structure was built with real network conditions—latency, instability—in mind.

Ultimately, they share the same goal but have different philosophies. Improve the existing system or create a new one.

Monads improve the existing framework, while Paros is a complete overhaul... Honestly, both seem exaggerated, but the idea that Paros actually challenges the network reality is more convincing.

Monad is ultimately operating within the limitations of the EVM, while Pharos completely breaks the mold... Both are good, but the real question is who will be verified first.

It's still more reliable to improve and modify than to redesign from scratch; Monad is a much more stable approach.

Isn't Monad ultimately facing the limitations of the existing EVM? No matter how optimized it is, the options are limited.
