Looks like the Fed might actually pivot sooner than expected. Hassett, who's leading the race for the chair position, just dropped a pretty bold take - says there's "plenty of room" for rate cuts ahead.

This shift in tone matters more than people think. We've been grinding through this high-rate environment for what feels like forever, and any signal toward easing tends to shake things up across risk assets. Lower rates typically mean cheaper borrowing costs and more liquidity flowing into markets.

The timing's interesting too. With Hassett being the front-runner, his public stance gives us a real glimpse into where Fed policy could head next. Not saying we're immediately flipping to aggressive cuts, but the door's clearly opening wider than it was a few months back.

Worth watching how this plays out. Policy expectations drive so much of what we see in both traditional finance and crypto markets these days.
