Spotted something interesting in ETH's order book depth - the sell side is stacking up noticeably thicker than buy orders right now.

What's weird? Price isn't cracking yet. It's just... hovering. Meanwhile the underlying structure keeps getting weaker.

This kind of divergence typically plays out one of two ways: either we get a lazy drift downward as sellers chip away at support, or somebody triggers a violent squeeze that catches all those resting shorts offside.

Either way, the current equilibrium won't last.

The selling pressure is so heavy, yet the price is still holding up, this is ridiculous... The structure is rotten, it will collapse sooner or later.

The sell order pile is so thick and the price is still dead, which is the most dangerous signal

Despite such heavy selling pressure, the price is still holding up. It really feels like they're preparing for something big.

The sell orders are so heavy, yet the price isn't falling. That's what's truly scary... The whales are shaking out the weak hands.

The selling pressure is so intense, yet the price is still holding on. This is just ridiculous... Sooner or later, it has to break.
