Right now in AI? Only two players actually matter on my phone.
Grok and Gemini. That's it. I've been ruthless about pruning apps lately, but these two earned permanent dock spots. Why? Because I'm hitting them constantly throughout the day.
Not testing them. Not experimenting. Actually relying on them for real work. That's the difference – when AI crosses from "interesting" to "indispensable," you know something shifted.
The rest? Still fighting for attention. But these two already won their spot in the daily rotation.

Well, Grok and Gemini are really amazing. Those other AI tools should have been deleted a long time ago.

Grok does work, but I still feel Gemini is a bit overrated... The real competition will depend on who can make a breakthrough in the future.

Grok and Gemini are indeed being used, but saying "only two" still feels too absolute—Claude has to step in to save the day occasionally too.

Simply put, it's voting with your feet. The fact that Grok and Gemini have managed to stick around shows that they're solving real problems—the rest of those AI applications are just engaging in meaningless competition of "we can do it too." This logic is the same as the incentive distortion seen with governance tokens: it looks like a flourishing ecosystem, but in reality, they're all just along for the ride.

Grok is truly awesome, Gemini is pretty good too, the others are just hype.

ngl Grok is indeed awesome, but Gemini is still a bit underwhelming. I still find Claude more convenient to use.
