There's a pretty interesting event over here in Japan—a certain Web3 payment platform has teamed up with Polygon to hold a lottery, and the prize pool is 10,000 JPYC.

To be honest, I basically rely on this card whenever I go out now. Once you get used to it, there's no going back—the seamless payment experience is just, well, awesome! Crypto payments can be this smooth; it's honestly addictive.

As for the 10,000 JPYC in the prize pool, it really depends on how the incentive mechanism is designed. The real question is, how long can user stickiness be maintained? Many payment projects in history have failed at this point—users acquired through subsidies tend to leave as soon as the subsidies stop.

Hmm... How's the liquidity of JPYC on the Polygon chain? Is it going to be one of those pools that look abundant but you can't actually cash out?

Japan is moving so fast, they're already using Web3 payments, while we're still waiting.
