Recently, while trading perpetuals on-chain, I discovered a pretty good platform.
Compared to the CEX system, on-chain contracts do feel more transparent—you control your own funds and don’t have to worry about the platform misusing them. The fees are reasonable, and slippage is well managed.
For those who want to try decentralized derivatives trading, these kinds of platforms are worth a shot. Of course, when operating on-chain, you still need to pay attention to gas fees and potential network congestion so you don’t get stuck at a critical moment.

Haha, gas fees almost cost me half my life again, but the on-chain transparency really hits the spot for me.

That being said, gas fees are truly the hidden killer in perpetual trading. Several times, I ended up losing even more just because I got stuck there.

As soon as the gas fees come out, I just want to smash my screen. This really is the final cut in fleecing retail investors.

Oh no, gas fees have skyrocketed again. The feeling of getting stuck at a critical moment is just unbelievable.

On-chain perpetuals are really awesome, but I'm just afraid that if the network gets congested at that moment, I'll get liquidated instantly.

You really have to keep an eye on the gas fees. Last time I got stuck at a critical moment, and it felt like I got liquidated instantly.
