Talus: Using the Nexus framework to set rules for on-chain AI agents, the testnet application has already attracted 35,000 users

[BlockBeats] Recently noticed a project focused on AI agent infrastructure—Talus. What they’re trying to do is pretty interesting: laying the foundation for a decentralized AI automation economy.

Their core technology is a framework called Nexus. This thing aims to solve a very practical problem: when AI services run on-chain, the operations need to be verifiable and transparent. After all, nobody wants to see black-box AI messing around on-chain, right?

In terms of progress, their testnet went live this September. The first user-facing application, Idol.fun, has performed quite well—attracting over 35,000 unique verified users. That volume shows the product has at least overcome the cold start challenge.

There’s been a lot of movement on the capital side as well. Talus has raised over $10 million in funding, led by Polychain Capital, with participation from the Sui Foundation, Mysten Labs’ Walrus Protocol, and others. This investor list basically shows their resource integration capabilities in the AI + blockchain space.

ngl the 3.5k user number is... statistically speaking, pretty underwhelming for september testnet launch. per my analysis, that's like barely ecosystem-scale adoption, taxonomically incorrect to call it "momentum" yet
