This scam to obtain maternity subsidies

I've heard even more outrageous rumors.
In some places, you don't need to be married to receive the subsidy—once you're pregnant, you can get it directly.
So they found a large group of mentally unstable young women,
claimed the subsidy, and then terminated the pregnancies...

That's basically the story, though I don't know if it's true or not.
But we were all shocked after hearing it—people are really willing to risk lives just to make money.
