#数字货币市场洞察 I recently looked through on-chain data and found that the average holding cost for Ethereum whales is around 2789. This level is quite interesting—every time the price drops to this range, the market reacts.

Looking back: On September 21, when the price retested this level, it bounced right off the cost line. In early December, there was another dip, and this time the rebound was even more decisive. After two confirmations, the support reference of this cost line is indeed quite strong.

But what if there’s a third test? My take is: as long as the price and cost line are rising together, the odds of a direct breakdown during another short-term pullback are actually low. In fact, the third bottom could present a buying opportunity—from historical trends, a rebound often follows the third touch of this line.

The real time to be cautious is after the third bounce, if there’s a quick reversal downward—that’s when risk is likely to be unleashed. At this stage, if $BTC stays strong, there’s a high chance that $ETH will move in tandem, and there may still be a decent rally ahead. $BNB
ETH-3.63%
BTC-3.29%
BNB-2.03%

That 2789 line is a bit sneaky, always putting on a show there. Is the cost line for the big players really that trustworthy? Feels like it's all hindsight analysis. Buying the dip right at the third touch of the line still feels more like gambling to me, the key is the period when the risk gets released. If BTC stays strong, ETH will follow for sure, just depends on how big of a move we get afterwards.

This 2789 line is indeed interesting, it's the psychological bottom line for the big players. If the third test really comes, I need to get my funds ready to buy the dip. Whether ETH will follow if BTC stays strong is a question. Anyway, I'm waiting for that risk-offloading point.

This key level at 2789 is getting a bit shaky.

2789 is indeed reacting at this level, but would you still dare to enter on the third attempt?
