Don't remind me again today

Recently, I took a look at BTC's funding rate data and found that market sentiment is quite interesting.

According to Coinglass data, the average 8-hour funding rate across the entire network is only 0.002%, basically hovering at the floor. Looking at specific platforms: a leading exchange A is at 0.0042%, exchange B is at 0.0054%, and exchange C is at 0.0026%.

What does this low funding rate status indicate? First, both longs and shorts are pretty calm right now, and not many people are in a hurry to bet on a direction. Second, the willingness to use leverage has clearly dropped, and market enthusiasm isn’t high. Most importantly, in the short term, most people really can’t tell which way the price will go.

In short, it’s a wait-and-see period. Either people are waiting for some news, or they’re gearing up for a big move.

The rates are at rock bottom, which means everyone is just watching the show. I don’t get it either, so I’ll just sit back for now.

Fees are at rock bottom, which means everyone is waiting for a breakout. This round of the market is really hard to read.

nah, everyone's too scared to take real risk rn... that's when the real moves happen tbh. 0.002% funding rates just means nobody's got conviction, which is honestly peak opportunity for anyone who actually understands protocol economics.

Fees are at rock bottom? That just means everyone is waiting for the right opportunity—no one wants to make the first move.

The rates are so low, it means everyone is waiting and no one dares to make the first move. --- The observation period is the most dangerous; the moves that come out after holding back are usually the fiercest. --- 0.002%? That's not even enough to cover the fees, really no one's playing anymore. --- Calm my ass, looks like everyone’s just holding it in, waiting for a total wipeout. --- What does this data show? It shows that retail investors have no money left. --- When funding rates are at rock bottom, that's when things are most likely to go wild. Be careful not to catch the falling knife. --- No point, better wait for news. Getting in now is just giving money away.
