Don't remind me again today

How to quickly determine if a coin is a Ponzi scheme? Just look at two points: the team's criminal record and the gameplay tricks.

If any of these characteristics are present, it's basically ready to rug pull:

Promises of bottom-price guarantees and big dreams to lure early birds in; secretly minting more tokens late at night; claiming the contract permissions are lost, but then suddenly able to change the tax rate; project treasury funds disappearing without explanation; as soon as this scheme collapses, they immediately rebrand and start fleecing the next group.

A classic case that checks all these boxes? CryptoDAO ( V3 version ) — check it out.

We saw this trick last year. They've changed their disguise three times, but it's still the same old routine, haha.

Same old trick: minting more tokens in the middle of the night, treasury disappearing, changing tax rates... I’ve seen this playbook too many times with CryptoDAOs. They just put on a new disguise and keep milking it.

Here comes another ridiculous excuse of "lost permissions." I can only laugh and say nothing.

Same old trick, I still remember getting rekt by this a few months ago. The team's shady history is just unbelievable—one quick check on Twitter and their true colors are revealed. I've seen the token minting move way too many times. Suddenly, at 2 AM, half my wallet is gone, and when I wake up, I find out I've been completely cleaned out. I've already blocked CryptoDAO a long time ago. Changing their name and still trying to scam? Do they really think we're all idiots? For projects with missing treasury funds, I can see right through them with my eyes closed. It's such a blatant insult to our intelligence. I'm way more cautious now. Basically, I run as soon as I spot these kinds of projects.

Damn, I’ve seen this trick before. During that CryptoDAO wave, my buddy lost five figures just like that, and he’s still regretting it.
