#美SEC促进加密资产创新监管框架 $ETH Behind the narrow range consolidation, the 3077 level is quite interesting

Recently, ETH has been like a tug-of-war—prices are neither up nor down, but the technical signals are worth pondering.

Let’s look at the market first. The MACD yellow and white lines are still hovering above the zero axis, showing that the short-term bullish structure remains intact, but the histogram’s weakness suggests there’s no upward momentum. The trading volume is even more straightforward—continuous shrinking with small candlesticks, a typical sign of a wait-and-see market. The moving averages across multiple timeframes are bunched together? This pattern often signals the calm before a directional breakout.

To be honest, the on-chain actions are even more telling.

According to a leading exchange, smart money has been frequently entering the 3000-3060 range lately, and large players repeatedly accumulating at this price level is no coincidence. Looking at the bears, $73 million in ETH short positions were liquidated in the past 24 hours, and this kind of one-sided liquidation is often a harbinger of a trend reversal.

As for the much-discussed Ethereum ETF regulatory expectations, any policy movement could be the catalyst. The current sideways movement isn’t the end—it’s more like the sultriness before a storm.

The end of a narrow consolidation is usually where a trending move begins.
