Don't remind me again today

A shocking incident occurred at the Büyükçekmece Courthouse. Valuable items stored in the judicial deposit box went missing. The inventory that emerged is as follows:

Among the lost items, there are exactly 9.906 grams of gold, 49 Reşat gold coins, and 438 gold necklaces. In addition, there are 66 grams of gold earrings, 5 gold bars each weighing 1 kilogram, and 7 gold insignias also listed.

The detailed breakdown highlights 167 full gold coins, 606 gold bracelets, and 376 half gold coins. The total number of lost items reaches 1,328.

While the investigation is ongoing, the security vulnerabilities in the custody system are being discussed. This incident has brought back into question the reliability of central custody institutions.

That's why we always say self-custody and self-management are important. Once centralized custody has a problem, it's game over. --- 1,328 items just disappeared into thin air. This so-called security is basically a joke. --- That's why you need to hold your assets yourself. You can't trust any intermediary. --- For this kind of thing to happen in a court is outrageous. What about ordinary places? The more you think about it, the scarier it gets. --- Yet another centralized disaster. That's why I always say custody is a must. --- Even gold bars can get lost—classic traditional finance. Try that on the blockchain. --- This is absolutely absurd. Even the courts can't control it. There's something wrong with this system. --- Self-custody and self-management aren't just slogans. Reality is teaching you a lesson.

If the central banks can't hold it, how can we expect the court's treasury? --- 1328 items just vanish, this must be the fate of TradFi. --- Damn, if this were on-chain, it would have been clarified long ago. --- Really? If the court's vault can have issues, how can I trust these institutions? --- No wonder more and more people are entering the encryption space, at least this thing is transparent. --- 9906 grams of gold just evaporated? It's completely a joke. --- Looking at this pile of numbers reminds me why we need Decentralization, I'm convinced.

1328 items disappeared? Is this what you call "safe custody"? Laughing to death, centralized institutions are indeed unreliable. --- Oh my god, this number... nearly ten thousand grams of gold directly evaporated, can the court also lose things? --- Every time I see this kind of news, it further strengthens my belief that self-custody is the way to go, brothers. --- 9906 grams of gold + over 600 bracelets... who said bank vaults are safer than Blockchain? Step up. --- If this were on-chain, it would have been recorded by all nodes long ago, but now it’s all gone. --- The Turkey judiciary is also starting to experience "technical malfunctions," haha. --- 1328 items disappeared without a trace; how professional must the insider be? --- What to do now, I can't even trust the court's vault anymore, it's truly absurd. --- If this news happened to a Web3 project, it would have been condemned by thousands, why is it that government departments face no consequences? --- Ridiculous... how big of a loophole must there be to let nearly ten thousand grams of gold escape?

The treasury of this judicial department can be stolen, yet they still dare to talk to us about centralized security? Laughing my ass off. Centralization is a pit, I've said it long ago that we need to manage our own assets. 1328 items just disappeared, who is going to take the blame for this? Aren't they hurrying to Rug Pull? Haha. It's definitely an inside job, too ridiculous.

Damn, even the court's vault can be stolen? More than 1,300 items just disappeared like that. This security measure is just for show. Centralized custody is indeed unreliable; it's better to keep it myself. The court's loss of money needs to be investigated thoroughly; there must be something fishy going on. 9.9 kilograms of gold, how much money is this loss... It's too outrageous. This is why I say I don't trust any intermediaries; even the court can't keep it safe.

OMG, this security vulnerability is really unbelievable, over 1300 items just disappeared? Centralized storage is like this, a single administrator can ruin your whole family --- So, why still trust the court's treasury? Self-managing the keys is the real way --- Wait, 9906 grams of gold and 606 bracelets just disappeared like that? Who the hell was watching the inventory --- LOL, this is why we need Blockchain for accounting, on-chain will never commit fraud --- Turkey's judicial system has also collapsed? My God, how much compensation will this cost --- Centralized storage is always like this, it should have all gone on-chain long ago.

Centralized custody? This is absurd, 1328 items just disappeared, and it's still in court. How can people trust institutions like this? No wonder everyone is going on-chain to avoid being stolen by accomplices. What can you do with 9906 grams of gold, you tell me... How is this case going to be handled? If the court's treasury can be robbed, what about regular banks? Quite interesting. Wait, we need to find out if this is a technical vulnerability or human error? Over a thousand pieces of precious metals disappearing out of thin air, this is too ridiculous.

this is literally why we can't have nice things with centralized custodians lmao... 1,328 items just vanish? that's not a bug, that's a feature of bad incentive design. the whole "trust us bro" model is so 2008 tbh
