Don't remind me again today

Is Tiktok trending again due to some security incident today? To be honest, as a retail investor who started with 10U, it makes me feel anxious.

I originally thought that with my small position, hackers wouldn't pay much attention to it. But now, with everyone talking about wallet security and private key leaks, I’ve started to feel anxious too.

I've been considering this thing called a cold wallet, but I'm not sure if it's overkill for someone like me who runs a small operation. Or is it that no matter the amount, safety comes first?

Brothers, has anyone had a similar experience? Please give some advice. Is it really necessary to use a hardware wallet for such asset volume? Or is it enough to just set up the security settings of the exchange properly?

What are you still anxious about 10U? I suggest you fix the two-factor authentication for the exchange first. A person can be entangled with the wallet for a long time, but the exchange passwords are probably all 123456, right? A Cold Wallet is indeed not necessary, but you need to adjust your mentality. Frequent transactions can actually make a hardware wallet more troublesome. As for the Private Key, don't take screenshots, don't use cloud storage, and don't tell anyone. It's that simple, brother.

Why worry about 10u? Hackers aren't stupid, and phishing scams aren't worth it. Instead of getting hung up on hardware wallets, it's better to first sort out the two-factor authentication for your exchange. You're really overthinking it. Having good security awareness is a good thing, but you also need to understand your own situation. For small amounts, just keeping them on the exchange is sufficient. In this environment, everything can be sensationalized. Don't be intimidated into following the crowd. First, learn how to protect your account. A cold wallet is really something needed only when you have a lot of money. With your current amount, you don't really need it. Focus on solidifying your basic defenses before considering an upgrade. Seeing so many people anxious really makes it seem like they're treating small matters as big ones. Normal people should just use the exchange.

What are you worried about with 10U? Just set a strong password for the exchange, no need to mess with a Cold Wallet. To be honest, the less money you have, the lower the risk. Hackers aren't specifically targeting retail investors. I think instead of buying a hardware wallet, it's better to set up two-factor authentication on the exchange first; that's really enough. Worrying about this stuff can ruin your Position more than hackers can, haha. If you're dealing with small amounts, don't stress too much, brother. It's more practical to study the coins than to focus too much on preventing hackers.

What are you still anxious about with 10U? I really... --- A Cold Wallet is indeed necessary, but with your exchange size, dual verification is enough to survive. --- Bro, don’t think too much; a small Wallet is just tuition, losing it is also acceptable. --- To be honest, security is not about how much money you have; developing good habits is more important than anything. --- A hardware wallet only costs a few hundred bucks, no need to pay in installments with Huabei, just get it done. --- The scariest thing is self-sabotage; hackers don’t even need to work hard, haha. --- With this size, you need to be even more careful; hackers are scanning in bulk, and you might just hit the jackpot. --- Forget about the exchange, but don’t overreact; just make good backups. --- If 10U is all your assets, then you need to be cautious; if not... wake up. --- When it comes to Private Keys, it’s not about the worst that could happen; it’s about the possibility of it happening. Treat the Cold Wallet like insurance.

What are you still anxious about with 10U? Hackers don't even care about you. A Cold Wallet is indeed necessary, but it's mainly about developing a habit; even small amounts of money need to be protected well. Having two-factor authentication and an Allowlist on the exchange is actually enough. Don't let anxiety take hold of you; maintaining a calm mindset is more important than anything else. In fact, retail investors have lower risks; no one is watching you.

Even 10U can cause anxiety, it's really unbelievable. But to be honest, there’s no discussion about the private key, even small amounts can be taken away. A hardware wallet is actually just psychological comfort; the core issue is still not to leave it on the exchange. I’m just worried that one day the exchange will act up again, and by then it will be too late to cry. Half of the security settings are done, and the other half is up to luck. In this day and age, you have to be careful even with 10U; who knows who the next victim will be. During the rotation of tracks, don’t overthink it; if you need to enter a position, then enter a position. The anxiety about safety really needs to be treated.
