The Solend lending protocol website has been hacked, and the user interface has been replaced with a malicious webpage.
Solend announced on Twitter that its user interface (UI) has currently been hacked. The hackers replaced Solend's normal interface with a malicious webpage in an attempt to steal user funds.
Solend reminds users not to connect wallets or execute any transactions and states that it is working to restore normal services.
Previously, Solend was controversial for attempting to take control of a large account. The protocol plays an important role in the Solana ecosystem and is one of the largest lending platforms.
It is currently unclear how the hacker gained access to the Solend UI. This incident once again highlights the challenges that DeFi projects face in terms of security.
