CoinVoice has learned that, according to CoinDesk, the digital bank Revolut announced a partnership with Lightspark to launch Bitcoin Lightning Network-based payment features in the UK and some European Economic Area countries. This move aims to leverage Lightspark's payment infrastructure, drop money laundering and accelerate payment processing speed.
Lightspark is a company led by former PayPal executive David Marcus, focused on building global payment solutions based on the Bitcoin Lighting Network. Currently, Revolut has not announced the specific launch time for this feature.
