Apple is expected to change the iPhone launch cycle to manage its increasingly diverse product line. According to the plan, the first foldable iPhone will be launched in the fall of 2026 along with the iPhone 18 Pro and the Air line. Meanwhile, the standard iPhone 18 will be postponed to spring 2027, along with the successor to the iPhone 16e. Currently, Apple has six iPhone models. With the addition of the foldable line, the company needs to restructure its release schedule to optimize management and marketing.

The foldable iPhone will have a book-like design, measuring 5.7 inches when folded and nearly 8 inches when opened. This allows Apple to increase flexibility in product development and expand its market.
