Adi Shamir, co-inventor of the RSA encryption algorithm and Turing Award winner, stated at the RSA Security Conference in San Francisco, "The world would be better without Crypto Assets." He pointed out that despite the noble ideals presented in the Bitcoin White Paper, current Crypto Assets are highly concentrated in a few large exchanges, mainly used for speculation rather than payment, and have fueled the spread of malware.
