Deep Tide TechFlow News, January 21, According to The Block, Architect Financial Technologies, founded by former FTX US President Brett Harrison, plans to expand cryptocurrency-style perpetual futures into the AI computing market. The company is about to launch perpetual futures contracts linked to GPU rental prices and memory pricing, which will be the first exchange-traded futures contract in the financial industry based on computing power. These products aim to provide AI companies, data center operators, and hardware vendors with tools to hedge against fluctuations in computing infrastructure prices, and can use USD or USD stablecoins as collateral.\n\nArchitect is developing these contracts in collaboration with computing index provider Ornn Data, which offers benchmark prices based on real-time GPU trading data. The company has completed multiple rounds of funding, with Series A funding by the end of 2025 valuing it at $187 million, with notable investors including Coinbase Ventures and Circle Ventures.
