【The Talent Dilemma in the Cryptocurrency Industry】
Year-end is a window for observation. Recently, after talking to a few friends, I realized that the wave of layoffs in the crypto space has basically come to an end, but the resignation wave is actually accelerating—more people are looking to switch jobs than last year.
This actually reveals an interesting phenomenon: the paradox of talent mobility.
In traditional industries, there is a formula—"Talent density + organizational efficiency > business complexity"—that allows a business to take off. Once this inequality is reversed, no matter how talented the people are, it becomes impossible to turn things around. The crypto industry is currently stuck at this point. There are talented individuals, but the organization is inefficient; there are opportunities, but the coordination costs are too high. The result? Good talent is all considering other options.
