On the eve of the CPI data release, I placed an order before the market opened. The direction judgment was completely wrong, and I took a direct loss, so I decisively closed the position and ran away. During the review, I felt there was still a chance, so I turned around and took a small short position, hoping to catch a small pullback.
But the market didn't follow the usual pattern. Although it did pull back, the magnitude didn't reach my psychological level. Watching the rhythm of the market, I had an instinct that it would go higher, so I closed the short position without hesitation.
As soon as I opened the chart, I was stunned—ETH broke through a key resistance level on the daily chart, and the strength of the move was frightening. If I hadn't been so decisive in closing the position, I would probably be deeply trapped now. This time, it was truly a close call; the market's rebound was indeed quite strong.

This guy is a textbook emotional trader. Dare to place orders right before CPI? The market efficiency hasn't fully priced in yet. This is a classic case of rational expectations failure... On the other hand, being able to cut and run decisively before the daily resistance break shows good reaction speed, better than those who are deeply trapped. Just next time, learn to look at on-chain data instead of relying solely on intuition to gamble on the market.

Damn, that intuition saved my life. Otherwise, I would have been trapped now.

Luckily, I ran fast, or I would have become a trapped leek.
