There is an interesting phenomenon in the crypto world: many retail investors favor certain projects, but why do they never see significant gains? Conversely, you might find that coins with mediocre quality, or even those you don't pay much attention to, suddenly experience a sharp surge. The 2021 SHIB is a classic example—many people initially doubted it, but it ended up being a market surprise.

This reflects that it's not just about fundamental logic. Market sentiment, capital flow, and public opinion often have a greater influence on short-term trends than the project's intrinsic quality. Looking at it from another angle, whether a coin has potential can't be judged solely by fundamentals; market movements are more about supply, demand, and expectations.

So don't be too fixated on the judgment that "this coin is no good." Sometimes, the market is just so unpredictable—no matter how perfect your logic is, you might still lose to a wave of hot money inflow. And vice versa. This is the charm of the crypto market, but also where the risks lie.

Really, what's the use of good logic if the market just goes along with it

That's how it is. Coins with strong fundamentals often can't move up, while trash coins can skyrocket. I was among the ones who got proven wrong, and I was mocking the most during SHIB. Market sentiment really works better than any technical indicator. You still have to follow the hot money; even perfect logic is useless.

Damn, that wave of SHIB really taught me a lesson. Now I don't dare to be too impulsive about anything. No matter how perfect the logic is, it can't withstand a wave of hot money. That's the crypto world. Why do I keep getting slapped in the face by the market? It feels like choosing coins is all about luck. Fundamentals? They are almost useless here; it all depends on who can hype. You're right, you have to learn to follow the trend.

Well... it means our logic is often worthless.

Haha, really. The ones I was optimistic about are all trash, and the ones I didn't pay attention to are actually taking off. --- That wave of SHIB was outrageous. How many smart people got their faces slapped, huh? --- Market sentiment > fundamentals. That's the real truth in the crypto world. --- Perfect logic is no match for hot money inflows. That hits too close to home. --- Don't be stubborn, everyone. Making money is more important than being right. --- To put it simply, it's still a supply and demand game. Whoever gets in first makes money. --- That's why I never believe in fundamental analysis. --- The market is unpredictable beyond measure. No matter how solid your logic, it can't beat public opinion. --- Capital flow is the key; everything else is nonsense. --- Risk and charm coexist. This is really true.
