In the past few weeks, I've observed an interesting phenomenon:

When trading volume in the crypto market drops, some traders start shifting to commodity and stock markets. And then they say, "These are so good, why didn't I look here earlier?"

The reason is actually a simple psychological issue: there are no emotional expectations in traditional markets.

When buying gold or silver, no one thinks, "Will this 10x–20x?" When adding to a stock portfolio, the same—reasonable return expectations and limited risk are standard approaches.

Crypto? Completely different game. From the start, people envision high volatility and multiplier gains. This influences decision-making and creates pressure.

In a low-volatility environment, this psychological difference becomes more pronounced. When crypto traders look elsewhere, the answer to "why is there less stress here?" is exactly this—the expectation level is completely different.

lmao this is just cope for people who can't handle real volatility... they're chasing dopamine hits masquerading as "rational investing" now. gold doesn't moon, so suddenly it's "stress-free"? nah, they're just broke and need the narrative 💀

That's so true. I recently also noticed this phenomenon. People in the crypto world are just poisoned by 10x or 20x gains. Once this kind of stimulation is gone, they can't sit still. Turning to trading commodities instead actually allows them to sleep peacefully.

Really... every time the crypto market cools down, I see people rushing to trade stocks, then acting as if they've never seen the world and saying that traditional markets are more stable. It's just that they've let go of the obsession with "getting rich overnight."

ngl crypto really messes with people's mentality... Wait, isn't this just gambler's mentality? Once you've tasted the thrill of leverage, ordinary investing truly feels boring.
