One mistake we should make early and learn from fast as young people, and as people in Web3 is using our first big money to upgrade our lifestyle too quickly, before our income is steady or permanent.

This usually shows up as:

• Taking on financial responsibilities for family, a girlfriend, or a boyfriend too early
• Buying expensive gadgets you don’t really need, mostly to impress others
• Renting an apartment your income can’t comfortably sustain. We all know how that ends
• Changing your food habits. You stop eating at home and start eating out, and only at expensive places

Small upgrades as money starts coming in are fine. That’s normal.
But a fast lifestyle upgrade without stable income can quietly ruin you if you don’t learn that lesson early.

Happy Boxing Day
