According to a May 6 report, Wall Street brokerage Bernstein predicts that by the end of 2029, global corporate finance will invest an additional $330 billion in Bitcoin. MicroStrategy is expected to contribute about $124 billion, while the rest, $205 billion, comes from slower-growing small and medium-sized businesses.
The main reason driving this trend is the cryptocurrency-friendly legal environment in the United States, encouraging the holding of cryptocurrencies at the corporate level. Currently, listed companies hold approximately 720,000 BTC, accounting for 2.4% of the total supply.
However, Bernstein warned that MicroStrategy’s model is not easily replicable by other businesses. This indicates a divergence in cryptocurrency investment strategies among enterprises.
