Satoshi Wallet Processed One Million Transactions in November

Media reports suggest that Lightning Payment Wallet of Satoshi (WoS) is also removed from Google Play Store as well. For the month of November alone, the wallet account processed around 1 million transactions.

Many users and cryptocurrency community participants took to social media platform X to talk about the disappearance of WoS app. The users noted that they were unable to find no results for the application while running searches.

The users were instead redirected to alternative wallet apps. However, WoS remained listed on Australian iOS store and was available for Android devices users hailing from Singapore and Australia.

Lightning Payments Platform

WoS has been taken off from iOS and Android app stores. It works as the Lightning payments platform that has processed 1.1 million transactions in November alone. A blockchain podcaster noted that November recorded the highest quantity of Lightning payments.

On the other hand, official account of Wallet of Satoshi noted on X that it was not banned from these application stores but rather the administrators have made the decision to remove the app for US users on iOS and Google app stores.

The account further noted that it will not serve consumers hailing from the region going forward. However, the notification did not share anything about the sudden decision of withdrawing their services for the country.

Nevertheless, WoS talked about probable relisting following addition of new features and upgrades in the foreseeable future. At the same time, the investors and account holders on WoS have option to transfer their holdings on alternative wallets and continue to access their Bitcoin reserves.

Apple Increases In-App Payments for Crypto Users

Apple Inc. has levied stringent policies for its users such as 30% taxes in the form of in-app payments. These policies and terms of operations have continued to hinder the growth and development of cryptocurrency companies and business within iOS eco.

On 17th November, some Venmo and Block Cash app users brought a class-action lawsuit against Apple Inc. The lawsuit has extended anti-competitive charges against the tech giant. On the other hand, Apple has continued the custom of removing ious crypto applications.

The firm delisted Nostr-based application named Damus that had a Bitcoin tipping feature in June. At the same time, Apple also temporarily removed MetaMask wallet app from its app store in October.
