  • Ondo showed $500K of tokenized Google traded onchain with just 0.03% slippage and pricing comparable to traditional markets.

  • Real stocks stay with U.S. broker-dealers, while tokens provide economic exposure, 24/5 minting and 24/7 transfers.

  • Solana rollout will cover 100+ U.S. stocks and ETFs using token controls for compliance and non-U.S. investor access.

Tokenized U.S. equities are moving toward broader onchain execution as Ondo prepares to launch stock and ETF exposure on Solana in early 2026. This follows reports from Bankless describing $500,000 of tokenized Google trading with 0.03% slippage on Ethereum and pricing comparable to traditional markets.

Onchain Execution and Pricing Data

Bankless stated that buying $500,000 of tokenized Google through Ondo resulted in 0.03% slippage, with execution pricing described as “effectively the same” as traditional finance benchmarks. The example highlighted network costs of about $1.49 plus a $100 fee for the purchase.

This purchasing occurred through a wallet workflow rather than a brokerage interface, with tokenized shares displaying low spreads and fast settlement. Ondo already operates this model across multiple blockchains before expansion to Solana.

Structure, Custody and Market Mechanics

Ondo’s structure keeps real stocks and ETFs with U.S.-registered broker-dealers, while the token offers economic exposure, including dividend effects. However, shareholder rights remain with the custodial entity.

Minting and redemption are positioned to run 24 hours a day, five days a week, while token transfers remain available 24/7. Pricing alignment relies on Chainlink feeds that include price updates and corporate actions. Ondo reports that approximately $365 million in assets have been issued onchain under this custody-backed system.

Solana Rollout and Transfer Rules

The Solana expansion intends to provide access to more than 100 U.S. stocks and ETFs already live elsewhere in Ondo’s catalog. Solana Token Extensions enable eligibility controls, jurisdiction filters and transfer hooks that restrict movement when required.

These rules apply to non-U.S. investors, according to Ondo’s disclosures. The rollout follows earlier deployment on BNB Chain and aims to operate with the same custody, pricing and compliance model seen on Ethereum.
