Gate Perp DEX New Year Challenge: Join to Share 20,000 USDT

To celebrate the arrival of 2026 and enhance users’ on-chain perpetual contract trading experience, Gate Perp DEX is officially launching the New Year Challenge. During the event, complete designated trading tasks or participate in the Price Prediction challenge to share a 20,000 USDT prize pool. Rewards can be combined with other platform activities.

Event Period: December 25, 2025, 18:00 – January 10, 2026, 23:59 (UTC+8)

Event 1: New Year Triple Trading Challenge

During the event, users who complete the following three trading challenges on Gate Perp DEX will be considered as having completed the challenge:

• Opening Challenge: Execute your first trade on any perpetual contract trading pair.
• Exploration Challenge: Achieve a total perpetual contract trading volume of at least 1,000 USDT.
• Harvest Challenge: Realize profit from at least one trade during the event period (PnL > 0 after closing the position).

Reward Rules:

• Base Prize Pool: 10,000 USDT
• The first 1,000 users to complete all three challenges
• Each user will receive 10 USDT.
• Additional Prize Pool: 5,000 USDT
• If the total number of users who complete all challenges exceeds 5,000,
• The extra users beyond 5,000 will evenly split the 5,000 USDT additional prize pool.

Event 2: New Year Price Prediction Contest

During the event, registered users can submit their prediction for the BTC/USDT perpetual contract index price at 00:00 on January 10, 2026 (UTC+8) via the event form.

Participation Rules:

• Each wallet address can submit only one prediction.
• Form submission deadline: January 9, 2026, 23:00 (UTC+8).
• Participants must complete at least one perpetual contract trade during the event period.
• Once submitted, predictions cannot be modified.

Selection Rules:

• Rankings are based on the closeness of the predicted price to the actual index price.
• If multiple predictions are equally close, ranking will be determined by submission time.

Reward Rules:

• The top 200 users will receive rewards.
• Rewards will be distributed from a 5,000 USDT prize pool.
• The specific reward amount for each winner will be calculated and distributed according to final ranking.

Event Notes:

1. Participants must click the "Join Now" button on the event page to register and complete identity verification to receive rewards.
2. To ensure fairness, the number of wallets associated with a single IP is strictly monitored. Abnormally high account activity will be deemed a violation and registration eligibility will be restricted.
3. All airdrop rewards will be distributed within 14 business days after the event ends.
4. Net contract trading volume = opening volume + closing volume.
5. USDT airdrops from all tasks can be stacked.
6. In the trading ranking competition, if none of the participants meet the minimum individual contract trading volume requirement, the corresponding airdrop rewards will not be issued. All users who meet the minimum trading volume requirement will receive fixed rewards in order of achievement.
7. Please note that the ranking data displayed in the real-time trading leaderboard is not filtered by the minimum individual contract trading volume requirement and does not represent final results. Actual rewards will be distributed based on the final verified list of winners.
8. "New users" may not create multiple wallet accounts under the same identity verification to participate in the event. Existing wallet accounts that are canceled will not be considered "new users."
9. Gate reserves the right to disqualify any participant engaging in fraudulent, manipulative, or deceptive behavior, including but not limited to wash trading, improper matching, bulk account registration, or other abnormal participation methods. Suspected fraud, self-trading, volume manipulation, matched orders, or market manipulation will result in disqualification and forfeiture of airdrop rewards.
10. If users participate in multiple events during the same period, only one airdrop will be granted, with the highest eligible amount awarded. The platform reserves the final interpretation rights for this event.
11. In case of discrepancies between the translated and English versions, the English version shall prevail.
