What is a TGE Token?
TGE, or Token Generation Event, is an important concept in the crypto assets field. It refers to the process where new tokens are created on the blockchain and distributed to early investors. This is similar to an initial public offering (IPO) in traditional finance.
When can TGE tokens be traded?
TGE tokens can usually be traded only after the project team completes the token generation and adds liquidity.
Alpha supports trading of on-chain public tokens, which means the project team must first create a liquidity pool on a decentralized exchange (DEX) such as Uniswap, Raydium, or PancakeSwap before trading becomes available.
In most cases, the project team adds liquidity a few minutes before the airdrop distribution, and tokens cannot be traded before that.
